OFFSITE DATA BACKUP -
Backup Instructions for Peachtree.
Backing up your Peachtree
installation
This general Peachtree backup procedure applies to Peachtree
Accounting for Windows Version 10, also known as Peachtree
2003. Other versions may vary. If this backup procedure
does not match your version of Peachtree, please call Multi-Link
at 303.831.1977.
1. Select File>>Peachtree Backup
2. After selecting Backup, you should mark the box
to Include Company Name, and you should select the option
to have the program remind you to backup when you have not
backed up for a number of days. (Select an appropriate number
for your company...some have activity daily and should be
backed up more frequently than others).
3. After selecting Backup Now, Peachtree will open a window
where you can specify the location for the backup. This
can be placed in your data directory for this company (which
we DO NOT recommend), or you can select a location to store
your backups.
4. Be sure your Multi-Link offsite backup has the file or
folder/directory selected for backup.
